We hold an inside grease cistern - how can we put a restraining device - or quantify - on an outside filler reservoir?
Answers: Not up to date with the exact application you are conversation about, but nearby are several options for smooth control. The easiest would be the old standby float switch, which is terribly similar to what is in your toilet to control the marine level. Then you start getting into the more advanced option. This can be done in a multitude of ways, such as a ultrasonic sensor which read the level from the top of the reservoir by bouncing a ultrasonic wavelength of the top of whatever you want to sense and consequently alarming once it is below a certain stratum. There are also several types of transducers that would read the level by shipment left within the tank, these would also alarm once below a consistent weight. Most of these would involve to be professionally installed and would probably be costly in comparison to only looking in the reservoir or possibly getting a sight chalice so you could actually see the plane. Not sure if this is exactly what you were looking for, but these are a few of the option. Hope this helps.
