bad smell from my drains .?
Answers:
Run some hot water down them then pour about a half a cup of bleach down each drain and let it set awhile. I do this about once a week and never have any smell problems
Other answers:
j.p covered it pretty well the smell may be mold from where maybe once there wasnt any flowing water going through it and it just got moldy

If your sink has a garbage disposal, the next time you peel an orange, put the peels down your sink and grind them up. This takes care of the problem.
being a plumber for 30 y I would say the other folks who answered your question is a common way for the smell cure. But if it's a all of a sudden thing I would look at the soil vent coming out of the roof and make sure it isn't blocked. If it is when you run water down your drains or flush a toilet it could suck a drain dry and that maybe where the small is coming from. The all of a sudden thing is why I think it might br this. It sounds like a vent blocked to me.
I agree with Ray Y, I'm betting that for some reason the vent pipe for the system, has developed a plug. It could be a bird that fell down in it, leaves, anything that could get in and be too big to go thru. If that happens the water going thru the drains below creates a syphon effect as it rushes by each individual trapped unit, sucking the water out of the trap and allowing the wonderful odors to waft back up into the house. You can try running a garden hose down thru it to unplug it. If that doesn't work you may need to call a professional plumber.
