Loud Banging nouns contained by house - mice chewing electrical electrical system?
When the report occurs, the lights contained by the house flicker.
Could the bang (which is comparatively loud) be caused by a mouse chewing or running over stripped wires?

It's unlikely that the rumble sound have anything to do with wires. Most possible there is a loose piece of wood or something within your attic that kind of act like a see-saw when the mouse's solidity is on one side of it. Are you sure it's not a squirrel in your attic? Squirrels do spring and create banging sounds. Good luck!
A loud bang noise sounds more resembling squirrels.I had to find a professional over to get rid of them.my roof is vastly high.40 foot.anyways they look for holes surrounded by the facial board 3 inches in diameter and set a trap surrounded by the gutters nearby and trap them.once they surface confident they are all out the close the hole. Now if squirrels breed contained by your attic they leave a sent trailing and in the spring they will come pay for and chew another hole .So you got to produce your house secure and not hold and rotten wood.Another place they get contained by is through the chimney and you might have to put a hood on top.I t cost me 1100 bucks to fix the wood and bring rid of the squirrels. The pest guy i hired said mice can get into an attic also from trees .so i plan on adjectives down any limbs close to the house
Sounds similar to an unrelated event. The banging can be steam pipes, or hose hammer within supply lines, or the vermin knock over items stored in the attic.
