Heat them with a torch.......but do it lightly, not to melt the pipe, they should pull apart. I just had to do this last weekend.
now THAT would be an invention worth something :)
Not really, you can heat it most of the time it does not re glue well, if it a pressure line than replace with a new piece
No you can't
Honestly, there is not any way to remove them w/out breaking or cutting them. We started putting in t's instead of standard joints so we could add pipe when needed. We also fill the area around the joint w/sand so if you have to dig it up, you don't have to go through packed dirt. If you need to change the fitting, try to dig up the pipe (if submerged), cut as close to the joint as possible and try refitting a new joint. They (I never know who "they" are specifically, but I still use that description) make a really neat PVC union that you can change w/out cutting or gluing and they are only about 30 cents more than the standards, or you could go with the telescopic union, which is more expensive but GREAT if you have a leak or need to add to your pvc. Good Luck!
Depending on th size of the pipe you can cut the pipe flush with the fitting and go back with a fernco over the hub
A company called Pasco makes a tool called the Ram-Bit that removes pvc pipe from a pvc fitting. Should be available from your local plumbing supply wholesaler.
Good luck,
