How do you get rid of waterbugs and mhat causes them to invade your house?
Answers:
Spray insecticide for roaches all around the border of your yard, and all around the foundation of your home. Then buy a package that has I believe 6 individual bait containers and put one in your garage another by the trash cans, in your garden etc. I didn't think it would work, but it does. These products can be found at home depot. They like moisture and darkness....

Water bugs on one hand is a good sign. They won't stay around or in polluted water.Take a walk around the inside of the house, look for any spills or containers that may have water in them in the past week.Look in the basement for signs of them,if you find one! water is near by.Get rid of water,no more water bugs.PS if they cant find moister to regulate, and feed there body;s they die.
pour kerosene.the smell will keep them away for some days.
forget marie. You have to cut off the water supply. If you live in old house you may have a capped cistern underneath.thats the most common cause.the next cause is underground streams. They are hard to get rid of but I've always had luck with bleach
