We used our gas Kenmore Limited Edition automatic cleaning oven feature. Now we can't use bake.?

The cleaning process worked. Now the cleaning light indicator blinks if we try to use the oven. The oven won't heat - even using the timed feature. Sears said wiggle the cleaning handle, or unplug it, or we can pay them to service it. That didn't help, and after two uses the feature shouldn't be faulty, but we've had the stove a couple of years or so.

Switch your setting from Bake to Self-clean.

when it is finished let it set, don't touch anything until the oven has completely cooled down....
once the oven has completely cooled then open the oven door
your cleaning handle should be completely at the other side or your oven won't work. Set your oven back to the bake setting. And try to bake.

If you unplug it leave it set for a half an hour to see if it will reset itself. Make sure when you unplug it that it is on the BAKE setting.

It sounds like the cleaning cycle didn't finish, in which case reusing it might help. Just make sure to let it cool completely before you try to open it. Even though it might say it is done sometimes the self-cleaning timers aren't adjusted right and the oven isn't quite finished yet hence you open it too soon and then can't bake.

if the oven dosnt work at all, check your burners and thermocuplers. it sounds like the oven thinks that the burners wont light so it stops itself.
