The blower on my central air conditioning isn't working. Is there something I can check before I call repair.
Answers:
Check to see if there is a door switch. The blower or anything else won't come on if it's not engaged. If it still won't come on, tape the switch "closed" and spin the blower wheel around with a screwdriver. If it comes on after doing this than it's either a weak motor and needs replaced or a capacitor problem. The capacitor is easy to replace. Take off the shiny metal box or round thing with two brown wires coming off it and take it to a HVAC supply shop and get a replacement.
Other answers:
Check all your fuses. Sometimes a blower is on a separate fuse.

Recently my air handler quit and I check the breakers. They were ok, but there was also one in the air handler and it had tripped. So check to be sure you don't have a breaker at the blower.
some furnace motors have reset buttons on them. check all around the motor for any kind of switch or button
