I actually found mine in the drawer beneath the oven on the side. I had to pull it almost all the way out though.

if it is a new home, you can contact the builder or call the manufacturer--they should be able to tell you based on your description
I wouldn't worry about. If you need anything for it, a good Jenn-Air dealer can fix you up with parts. You may have to remove the old part you need & take it to them though.
