You can get a reasonable aerial for about 26 pounds depending on where you are in the country I would suggest at least 18 element, dont be conned into paying more for a digital aerial there is no difference between analogue or digital, unless you go for a microwave aerial which deals with the higher frequencies.
To fit it just look at your neighbours houses and see which way their aerials are facing and do the same.
