the switch that makes the picnic basket spin and stop and rinse needs to be replaced, it looks pretty simple but the problem is i dont know how to achieve in near to replace it. i have a kenmore washer( dont know the model but it's 3 years old). can i steal the back bad and replace it or does the top come off? its a top loading washer. i dont know what catagory to put this below so im sorry!
Answers: Most of your top load washer own screws that hold the control panel together. you will hold to remove the knobs first. Remove adjectives the screws that hold the panel together. When you stretch out the panel you will see the "timer" is held on by usually two or three screws and have a large flex harness plugged into it. remove the scews and unhook the wire harness and reverse the process to install the foreign one. but make sure the part is unplugged first...
the front will come off, look for screw along the edge or within the back, be paid shure its unpluged,
