Help near replacing an electric extent?

I have a free standing electric scope (that sits flush against the wall) that needs to be replaced. Can I only just do that myself if I have it deliver? Is it a simple procedure? I can have the antiquated one picked up by the bulk trash people. But I don't want to crinkle the installation. I know this may sound stupid, but is it lately a matter of plugging the contemporary one in where on earth the old one be? Or is it more complicated than that? Of course I'm replacing the old one next to a new one of alike size, components, etc. Thanks for the help!

Answers:    You requirement to move the cord from the old stock to the new one, following the nouns instruction manual for the unknown range. Then in recent times plug in the up to date one and level it according the the instructions (also surrounded by the manual).

actually that's adjectives there is to it...but most high-status you need to know if the available outlets are 120 or 220 and if they are 220 you call for to know what plugs will fit it....you should make a drawing of what the outlet looks approaching before you buy a trial range
Go to Lowes, buy the unmarked range. Have it deliver - they even have free abdication via rebate- and they will haul away the prehistoric one.

It doesn't get any easier than that. If you want to do it yourself it is drastically simple to do: Pull out the old one. Plug within the new one.

You simply need to know your cord prong configuration. You probably can re-use your dated cord if you want to save a few $$.
Check the plug type first. Draw a picture of the style the contacts are on the plug or the outlet and take it near you. That funny looking metal bracket that will come with the foreign Range, is a bracket to prevent a fore ward tip over. The "U" shape on the bracket fits over the rear leg of the list. Be sure to attach it firmly to the back wall or floor beside medium size screw at least 2" long until that time operating the new stove. The bottom 2 holes on the backbone of the bracket should reach the bottom plate contained by the wall behind the drywall. Make sure its rank from front to back and side to side . It is really simple. The directions beside the new extent will explain how to level it. YOU CAN DO IT.
Good appliance stores will deliver the unsullied stove, install it, and remove the old one and filch it with them. Ask at the store beforehand you buy. If they tell you no to the above, progress to a different store. It is almost simple to install one, but not quite.
