Why isn't my fridge cold?
Answers:
could be a few things....thermostat....door gasket....compressor....evap fan...you need to call someone in to check it...pull the frig out and check to make sure the coils aren't matted up with dirt and dust if so vaccum them

Could it be possible that the door didn't shut completely and now it is defrosting? This has happened to us a million times...my hubby finally set the fridge where the back sits a little lower so that the doors shut completely.

Keep your fridge full. If not for anything, just keep water in it, to extract the cold from the surrounding temperature and it will keep everything else cold.
Its also why they suggest you keep frozen bottles of water in your freezer, if you dont have anything in there, to take up space, so the thing doesnt have to work so hard. The less you have in there, the more it has to work, because "thing" absorb the cold and "stays" cold.
Just my opinion...but, worth a try..

THE DRIP PAN ONLY CATCHES CONDENSATION. YOU MAY HAVE TURNED YOUR REFRIGERATOR TOO HIGH. THIS FREEZES THE COIL.OTHERWISE YOUR FAN IS NOT OPERATING OR YOUR COIL COULD BE COVERED WITH DUST AND IT CAN'T DISSIPATE THE HEAT.PULL THE FRONT BOTTOM PANEL(NEAR YOUR TOES OFF IF YOU HAVE ONE) OR YOU'LL HAVE TO ROLL IT OUT & REMOVE THE BACK.REMOVE DUST IF FAN BLADE IS SPINNING, IT'S O.K. IF THERE WAS ALOT OF DUST ON THE COIL, THATS YOUR PROBLEM,IF YOUR FREEZER AND OR FRIG. HAS ICE LET THAW. CHIPPING ISN'T RECOMMENDED,AS YOU CAN PUNCTURE YOUR COOLENT LINE. IF NONE OF THESE IS A PROBLEM THEN YOU NEED TO GET A CHARGE OF FREON. ONLY LICENSED REPAIRMAN CAN DO THIS. GOOD LUCK.
you might want to have the freon checked as well as all the usual things.. a repair person will know what to look for. Just make certain you call a reputable service person.
Most fridges have an air passage between the freezer and the fridge part and it can get blocked with ice and stuff. If you have any ice build-up, try defrosting your freezer.
Had the same problem..got it fixed by a specialist.
maybe you need a new fridge.
Checklist for ALL MODERN REFRIGERATORS!
1. Is fan in freezer running? Must be running to circulate air.
2. Is fan next to compressor running? Runs to keep compressor cool & dissapates heat from condensor coil.
3. Are condensor coils clean? If they are plugged, vacuum or clean with special brush.
4. Is compressor running? Can be off due to condensor fan motor failure or ref. may be in defrost cycle.
5. Is everything off execpt lights? Again, may be in defrost cycle & not running.
6.Is there an unusual amount of frost in freezer? Automatic defrost probably not working due to bad defrost control, defrost heater or limit thermostat.
7. Are the controls turned to normal settings?
