How to lower a curb at the edge of a driveway?

every time I pull into my driveway I must go over a street curb. I would like to know how to grind it down for a smooth transition from the street to my driveway.

Answers:
Its called grinding the curb there is a attachment for a skidsteer just for this. Your city may not approve of it tho. Call arround to escavating companys!

all I can say is get out your sledge hammer and start pounding away.. or pour more concrete to make a little bridge type thing.

Well a sledge hammer will work.... But the problem I can see with that is... If the city doesn't like that idea... They will replace the curb and charge you for it...

What I don't understand is why there wasn't a curb cut out for the driveway...

I guess you might want to check with the city and make sure everything is cool.... I had a neighbor once that widened his driveway and knocked the curb out, he had to pay some serious cash to get it fixed...

If everything is cool with the city, I'd try and do as neat of a job as possible, and get some concrete and form the edges so it looks the way it's supposed too..
