How do you clean the Party Buddy (liquor dispenser)-there is mold growing in the dispenser and I dont know how
Answers:
one part vinegar and three parts water, then rinse thoroughly
Other answers:
Hot water and bleach should do it.
Hot water and bleach should do it.
Clean this the same way I clean the fresh water holding tank in our motor home.
Mix a weak solution of water and bleech, laundry bleech is fine, at a rate of about 25:1 or so. Doesn't need to be exact. Make enough to draw the solution through the dispenser anywhere the liquor would normally travel. If it is made of durable enough materials where the bleech will not effect it, you could immerse the entire thing into the solution. Let it sit overnight. In the morning, use whatever small brush you can get into where ever you saw the mold growing and scrub it out. Use a bottle brush or similar. Rinse several times with warm fresh water. Several times.
There may be some discoloration where the mold was growing but it will be dead! This depends on how long it was there, the material where it was growing, and how deeply it was allowed or able to penetrate.
I use a cup or two to 60 gallons of water in the motor home water tank. But the key is to get the solution drawn up into the device, or submerge it so that it is in contact with the mold. And for an extend period of time.
Good luck and I'll take a Crown and water. And don't loan it to that same fella again.
