How do you remove river base paint from a tub? My hotelier foot painted my tub by foot....?

My landlord appendage painted the bottom half of my tub with interior dampen based paint because the enamel is worn. The paint is chipping and it is disgusting. I would close to to remove the paint without further detrimental the already scratched worn enamel so I can eventually have a hip bath instead of always have a shower. Please help....

Answers:    Try Goof Off. Then run to a good hardware store and check on coatings that you can use to cover the bottom of the tub properly. Barring that, you can buy a tub insert that act like a full new tub but it's newly a big piece of molded material that you can install right over your prehistoric tub to make it look similar to new. I don't close to to frequent Home Depot because they promote the hiring of illegal immigrant but....Home Depot has classes every week and they own people who will explain to you how to do this easily and correctly.
i reason u should buy anew bath tub :)
Use paint remover and rinse down the drain.
Goof past its sell-by date, paint stripper and even goo-gone work, to help this along win some 00 steel wool this will help polish the enamel surface and remove the paint that the chemicals are working on. Personally I'd use Zip Strip paint remover and steel wool. There are products contained by home repair sections of Home Depot and Lowels that will cover the impossible areas of your tub once you get the paint past its sell-by date. Good luck.
If it is water base like you said, you can most expected just imbue the tub with adequate hot water to cover the painted nouns. It will turn loose and you can just prepare it off surrounded by big sheets.
