a pebble got stuck in the garbage disposal, how can i get it out?

Answers:
Disconnect the power from the disposal if you can. Many plug into a wall outlet under the sink. If not, be very certain your switch is off. Place a long screwdriver into the disposal and try to turn the blades. This should free the pebble where you can take it out.

turn on the disposal????? or would that break it?

CALL A MACANIC
call a plumber. diandra d it is spelled "mechanic", not "macanic", jeez. If you don't know how to spell, I would suggest a dictionary.
get a flashlight and pair of tweezers and look for it. If you don't see it, turn on the disposal for a second to move the pebble. If that doesn't work, leave the disposal on until the pebble is dust.
turn it off. reach in carefully, spin the little wheelies around until you feel the pebble. Get it out. good to go.
take a hammer and whack the pebble in the Garbage Disposal loose
you have to get a plummer to open the disposal and take the pebble out manually, but if it did damage to the disposal you might have to replace it.
Turn off the power to the disposal, get under the sink, remove the ring on the disposal, drop the disposal down and turn it upside down, to remove the pebble, then replace in reverse order.
