didja blow a fuse?
If you are sure the machine is plugged in and the circuit is live (no blown fuse or circuit breaker), you may have lost a belt (it broke).
Just had to replace on of these myself.
Can you hear the motor running? How old is the washer and what make?
Could you have it on the wrong load size?
Probably a broken belt. Call a repairman.
Try these links
check the lid switch. This is the cause 90% of the time. You can by-pass the switch to check. UNPLUG FIRST!!
I'd say you have a broken belt. Call a handyman.
sounds like either the pump gone. is it making a sucking sound, if not then that's the case, something may have got into its blades like wire from bra or such like, check the filter, some of them if not cleaned can stop the machine. try a different cycle an see if it works on that first,
Washers do not drain or spin for many reasons. Different brands for different reasons. Apparently you have not tried everything or you wouldn't be asking. Try giving more information or you will just get the same moronic answers like get a new one or call the repairman like that was the last thing on your mind.
