Whirlpool...stove problem...comfort!!!?

Hi all
We (my family) purely bought a new stove....Whirlpool one....and we are havin a problem next to the Oven. I quote, it says contained by the booklet tht it came near tht "To adjust oven temperature calibration: Press and Hold OVEN LIGHT for 3 second until the oven display shows the current calibration" I hold the OVEN LIGHT pad for 3 second....but nothing shows up.....i can with the sole purpose see the time....nyone know....wat the problem is?

Answers:    When the oven is dormant, (nothing is on) it will display the clock. Read the previous statement before it say press and hold for 3 seconds. It might hold to turn the oven on to 350 for 10 minutes, then calculate the temperature. Read your owners brochure carefully.
