How do you remove rust?
Answers: Buy a can of Zud (rust remover) & use water & product a paste on a cloth & rub it on the rust, permit set awhile, then rinse. The Zud is sold within grocery stores & can be found where the powdered cleansers are sold.

WD-40, a can of coke, sandpaper, or a Dremel.
If you have a power drill later you can buy a wire brush especially cheap and scour the rust off (non toxic, but still wear a mask)...failing that there's other plain steel wool (not the kind near soap) that you can get at the hardware store for cheap as in good health.
While you're there pick up a can of brush-on Rustoleum for fine art it when you're done. You'll be happy beside the results and it's a complete no-tox situation.
rust is dead metal,you cannot verbs it,only remove it and if at all possible replace it with the inventive.
Sand it & paint it.
Get some vinegar and steel wool. The local Home Depot here sells that.
Soak it within a tub of vinegar for about a minute, and the rub rigorously along the rusty lorry.
It should work. I've had that beforehand too. Give me an IM if you need more serve.
Wire brush, auutomobile primer and several coats of red enamel. Wheel hubs were white and button should be black.
