why does my toilete flush slowly?
Answers:
if it flushes slowly it could be clogged up by any number of things (do you have kids) you my need a sewer snake to snake out the problem. you may also need to check your septic tank, alot of times hair, grease, toilet paper, etc. can clog up the entrance to your septic tank and it will make it run really slow if that's the case, .but if you know where your septic tank is and you have a strong stomach it's an easy job to do yourself. if it's filling up slowly check the shut-off valve behind the toilet to make sure it's wide open if it's wide open and still fills slowly take the valve off and check to see if the valve is clogged up.

maybe you have some plumbing issues that you are not aware of or you have a water pressure issue

this is a matter of water pressure. You need to to turn up the water pressure some more and adjust the "flapper ball" where necessary ( if increase water pressure doesn't work).
I have fixed quite a few in my time.
because u have a slow toilete!!
If the water raised quite a bit before everything is flushed then you have a partially blocked septic line.
If you are referring to the time it takes to fill up the top then about all you can do is make sure the supply valve under the toilet on the water supply line is fully open.
The speed at which your toilet fluses is controlled by the size of the "pipe" that goes from the storage tank to the bowl. There basically is nothing that can be done to adjust it, even raising the pressure.

Most likely it could be clogged up with toilet paper. Alot of people don't think this can happen, but trust it happens all the time.I use hot water and a splash of bleach. I have also used this cleaner called The Works.
how old is the toilet ? how hard is your water...possible mineral buildup in jet holes and inside porcelain can cause all sorts of problems if the water can't get from the tank to bowl fast enough it will retard flushing...also if there is not enough water in tank i.e. water level too low....but the first thing you should do is take a small container aprox 1 gallon in size..i always use bathroom trash can..fill it up with water and pour all at once directly into bowl...does it flush..?? If so your problem is the toilet and not the drainage piping. If it doesn't ..well looks like you've got a blockage somewhere....
cheers
Joshua is right on the money there. The little holes in the toilet pan is what people over look a lot. Good luck & happy flushin.
