You'll need to post back with which salt generator you have. They all have their own salinity they work best at. It could be from 2200 ppm to 3700 ppm. I can give you an answer if you post the make.

lol what re you trying to make mummys? but yeah um i think you would need at least a tenth of your pool volume but even then it would be hard to dissolve because your pools probably not heated, but theeres an equation you learn in chemistry to determine the solubility of a certain element so you can look up that equation and calculate it and oh yeah most importantly have fun!

How salty do you want the water to be? You failed to mention that salient detail.
