Answers: Pop rotten the front cover and clean out the filter. It is foam and you can any use a vacume cleaner, or blow it out with compressed nouns. I would do this outside.
Is it not blowing at all or basically blowing room air? If it's still blowing, you might check the filter. It may be dirty.

try checking the filter...its happen to me before and the filter be just really clogged from the dust and other stuff...check that and if it isn't white afterwards change it motive it might need it if you own never done it..
In really supper hot weather the a/c works over time. Some
times if you turn it off for 20 or so minutes and start it posterior
again. It will do fine. Try that before you send for a repair man.
Is it still under warranty? If it is check it out until that time its too

If the out door section is running then probability are you may have a not working evaporator motor
If nothing is running indoor and out door next check
the circuit breaker panels
On abundant indoor units within is a safety switch on the door
that houses the evaporator disciple
If the cover is loose it will not push in the black switch button
this is used to prevent anyone from placing their hand in
the lover compartment while the fan is running
So if you remove the cover or it is loose the aficionado
will not run
Is there a follower belt on the fan motor, and is it loose

i lived out in the country for a wile and the biggest problem I have with my a/c be bugs getting into to back of it and I would enjoy to take it out and verbs the bugs out . If it is a window component the best way I found is to use a river hose or pull it out and hold it to a car wash[a do it yourself] verbs the filter and look in the subsidise for bugs they will stop-it-up and it will stop cooling
When you say elevated efficiency that tell me you have a split system. The condenser component is outside whilet the coil and fan are on the inside. Typically no cooling ability you have a blown fuse on a untried unit. Check the 3 fused within your disconnect box outside. IF one is bad replace it and you are correct to go. If the condenser is running outside and the devotee is blowing on the inside then you most possible have a refrigerant trickle. Still check you air filter. Good luck.
