$1650 for an 80% TRANE gas furnace installed. Is that a right price?

I'd like better use, but I'm just a poor college student, and I'll probably get rid of the house in a year or 2 or anyway.


Answers:    80% if fine. It is give or take a few ten percent less streamlined than the best you can buy and probably more reliable.

The price is not far out of line unless it's simply a drop-dead-easy change-out.
80% is the low end, It method that 20% of the fuel is wasted. I contemplate 1400 is better, so you are not far off beside a Trane
