Can u paint over oil based paint with water based?

if u have oil based paint you can paint over it but you need to put a good primer on first. if you dont prime the wall first the water based paint will bubble and peel off

You can with some makes but generally it is not recommended and do not expect the water based paint to last more than one season before it starts peeling and cracking.
NO YOU CAN"T PUT OIL PAINT ON WATER PAINT BECAUSE IT WILL RUN THROUGH AND LOOK LIKE CRAP THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO PAINT IT ALL OVER AGAIN
