How should I go about selling my house?
Answers:
Find a good realtor.
Other answers:
Find a qualified Realtor in your area. Qualified meaning someone who has good knowledge of your area, your market, and has a good standing record with their past clients. Ask your friends and family if they know of a good Realtor that they have personally used and can vouch for. Then interview them to find one who will tell you like it is, not tell you like you want to hear it. You are looking to employ someone for a job here, take it seriously.

I'm assuming you don't want to involve a real estate agent. If that's the case take out a large ad in your newspaper on a Friday, Saturday, and maybe Monday. When you list your ad make sure you include flattering pictures of your home and an open house time. This will get people who are interested a time to come in and look around. Make sure you have all your paperwork ready. Things like the layout of the house, how many rooms, etc... Also would be good to have some cookies and some cool drinks for your guests. And if you've ever watched sell this house you know you need to get rid of all things personal in your house. Pictures, knick-knacks, etc.... Clear it down to the bare minimum. It will help people get a better picture of what their things will look like in the house. Hope that helps. :)
