Steel fire door repair?

I had the police over lately to serve a search warrent on two of my tennants. They busted contained by two fire rated steel commercial type doors. Now that those tennants are gone the destruction remains. I get a quote on replacements, and talk going on for sticker shock $1000.00 per door and lock set. Needless to say I strated trying to repair instead, which I in reality did a pretty good charge on the door. (using autobody filler on the steel, alot of c-clamps, and some enginuity) My problem now is the lock set which apparently is going on for half the $1000 cost respectively. they are those ruswin corbin mortise type locks. (you know the little rectangular package that slides into the door downfall. Has anybody ever tried to fix these when they get bent. If I can fix it adjectives I need to do is replace the knob. and yes below code these need to be fire doors and replacing them near cheaper home depot fire doors without replacing the other 8 would look close to crap.

Answers:    Regarding the lock
You might get lucky and find a "mortise lock" on ebay. in that sizes are standard,
Or, if you are in a ample metro area, find a commercial hardware supplier, stir to there shop, beside the lock, you may get lucky, and someone assist.. Or shift online, corbin's site, find your lock, then beckon a locksmith to order one for you.. To fix a lock body explicitly bent would be futile, as the tolerances are very un-forgiving...parts will bind, be unpredictable, and within the long run, not worth the effort...
the repair you are doing next to the bondo and c-clamps may seem approaching a cheap and reasonable repair till the fire marshall sticks you near a scary fine for using a substandard non rate door

you can contact columbia window and door and seize that door you need for more or less 250 dollars and the lockset will cost about 60
There is NOWAY to repair those doors or the lock sets. The doors are no longer Factory rate and will not pass local code inspections. The lock sets are most expected internally damaged, and unless your a locksmith, you won't know how to repair them. You just can't do that much repair to a fire door surrounded by the field. Have the doors and locksets replaced, sue the tenant, and hope for better tenants subsequent time.
