Is there a way to change the bulb on a pentair aqualuminator pool light without replacing the whole assembly?
Answers:
Sure is. But the bulb IS most of the assembly! You need to get the replacement bulb first, though. Study it and look at the light fixture itself. It's self evident how it goes together. Trouble is you've got to work FAST. You will be getting wet during the "switching" process! I'll give you more details if you can't figure it out after examining the bulb. Good luck.

Yes, the light is on a long cord coiled behind the housing. The housing itself is waterproof.
Turn off the power, get a helper to stand on the deck, get in the water and unscrew the screws in the rim. Pull the entire housing out hand it to your helper to lay on the deck.
Change the bulb and reverse the process.
