how do i remove gummy worms from a sofa (microfiber)?
Answers:
the best remedy in the world is to use ice cubes.this will harden them back to a solid state, they will then peel right off.use an enzyme cleaner if their is still sticky on the material.this works on an oxygen basis.mix the a cap full to a 1/2 gal of water under a running faucet to get very sudsy, use the suds only, lightly with a scrub brush, let air dry, dries very fast this way.

Maybe you could try rubbing an ice cube over them to harden them up again, then very carefully scrape off what you can. After you get most of it off that way, you could try some kind of fabric cleaner. I use "Oops!" to get most stains out.. it works great on adhesives so maybe it will work on gummy worms. It is safe on clothes, but just to be sure, I'd try it on an inconspicuous part of the sofa. You can buy it at Walmart in the paint section.
Use a plastic scraper to scrape off the surface "goo" taking special care not to tear the fabric. Then get a soft brush, like a soft bristled tooth brush and some kind of mild soap and clean. I would test your soap choice on a spot not seen like under the couch or under the cushions. You could try Oxyclean, regular liquid hand washing dish soap, Woolite or carpet cleaner. In that order.
Microfiber is supposed to be easy to clean with a mild soap and water. I'm a slob and I eat on mine and I just wash it off with a paper towel. good luck.
