Dryer not heat !!!!!!!!?
Answers: See if you can reseat it. It almost sounds like the heat element is not coming on.
it might be on a two circuit set up check the other fuses or breakers which ever you enjoy
The dryer should be on its own circut.
check all the fuses. It may be that the dryer is wired incorrectly and sharing another fuse. I suggest varying the panel to brakers.
Check your owners manual to see if is suppose to be plugged into a 120 or a 220 plug. Most plugs within every household are made for 120. If you have too various things plugged in one plug it is over loaded, biddable luck! You might have adjectives out the heating part too.
Dryers are 220 volts. In your breaker panel it may be on two 110 volt circuits. See if one 110v breaker is still 'tripped'. (I mean fuses) Maybe a fuse is blown, and you can't see it. Lastly conceivably your heating component in your dryer burned out,(I'm going for the two 'fuse' article though!)
The dryer vent outside might just call for to be cleaned out, make sure you remove adjectives the lint the sticks to the outside cover. Make sure no little birdies have made a nest contained by there. If it runs and doesn't dry, that's usually the problem.
the tumbler portion of your dryer is 110volts, the heat part
is 220v or gas.
i would check other fuses as the 220v breaker is a 40-60 amp breaker if they are adjectives reset it could very resourcefully be heating feature in the dryer hold gone bad, but the a/c part you installed is most likely a 110v 15-20 amp breaker.. if adjectives else fails unplug the a/c part and try dryer, if it heats the function
it wouldn't work with a/c component running was because of low currant to dryer due to a/c running.......
The query is whether you've got a gas or an electric dryer.
If you hold a gas dryer and it is tumbling but there is no steam, the igniter is probably broken. This is a rather fragile earthen heating thing that lights the gas flame when the dryer is first turned on. It's easy to replace. Unplug the dryer and pilfer off the front cover. Look for the igniter hard by the gas burner. Unplug the igniter, remove the retaining screw(s), and take it to your Whirlpool parts store. The cost should be around $30-40. You can also buy most appliance repair parts from Sears, but they tend to charge a bit bit more.
If it is an electric dryer, it could be that the heating constituent has burned out. If this is the luggage, you can make a makeshift fix by twisting the burnt ends of the heat element wires together near a pair of pliers. Again, kind sure that the dryer is unplugged.
It is also possible that you've got a defective thermostat, or some other problem. In any event, it is unlikely that your dryer problems are related to the skylight air conditioning element.
I say that because an electric dryer operate on a 240 volt circuit, whereas the air conditioner probably operate on a 120 volt circuit. Therefore they would be on two different circuit breakers. However, a gas dryer operates on a 120 volt circuit, equal as the air conditioner, so it is possible that they are on one and the same circuit in your house. But the dryer tumbles, so the problem is not electrical.
If its an electric dryer, it uses two breakers or fuses and the dryer will run on one singular, but needs the other one to complete the heat circuit, so check them and if that doesnt work, then check near http://appliancequickfix.com/ so you can find out exactly how to find out what the problem is.
