Leather couches?

i have a black leather couch im not sure if its legitimate or imatition leather. it is peeling and are cat we have scrathed it all up.

would it be cheaper to enjoy it fixed if so how do i do that or who does that?
would it be cheaper to buy a new couch and what type of couch is stain resistent and better to hold with children around?
i hold many friends near babies and i have a 8 month old-fashioned myself.


Answers:    Having babies around something that is crumbling sound harmful to me as they can put this in their mouths and if it is not tangible leather or the leather is dyed, who knows what caring of chemicals they are putting in their mouths. Get an contemporary couch with a throw cover that you can remove and clear up regularly would be your best solution.
