Hi, check out the two links below. At the first link, about 1/4 of the way down the page, you'll see a heading "sewer smell in house". The second link describes several other reasons for you issue. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Are you sure all of your joints are glued? If so, I would look to the anle of declination. You may have standing water.
If all else fails, use beneficial bacteria down the drains. It'll eat up the particulate, which will lessen the likelihood of detectable odors developing.

you need a breather flap that fits in your pipe line.you can get one at a lowes store or any hardwere store.
It sounds like the water is being siphoned out of the trap(s) since the odor goes away temporarily after you pour water into the drain(s). There is a proper method of venting the system that I can't explain here. I recommend that you have a qualified plumber check out the problem for you. (Throw some MONEY at the problem!). Good luck, that odor is quite sickening.
i think that this is from gasses being created from the decomposition in the tank being pushed up the system. the pressure, as low as it may be, would push the gass past the traps. at our camp, we have a T joint in the line with a pipe that has a little grate on the top so the fumes just vent outside.
this may be causing the trouble, if not, it never hurts to have one anyways.
check your venting if you cannot vent normally you can use a trap vent to get pressure relief cause it sounds like your getting siphoned
