the legs on the bottom of the machine are MEANT to be turned up or down to help STABALIZE 150 pounds or more of wet clothes... this could be a potential problme if the hoses in back disconect a LOT of water will start pouring out...

your washer should be level because of the concrete counterweight in the base of the machine.if the machine is off level your machine will tend to walk every time you have any load that gets shifted to one side
