I want to solder tentative faucet within, but not licensed-need ur relieve professional plumbers?
Since this is an condo I never encountered this. I get the hotwater figured out, examine is the main cold supply. But is here some way around this?? possibly i could cut the pipe, then summarily attach a compression shutoff supply then shift from there. I would deliberate this would be an idea, I'm going to experiment this theory next to another supply with a shutoff in the past I attempt but main need is homeowners dont' care, and are really fustrated that something like the situation, and said if i can get aroudn it to do it, They own the condo, and it should be their right to do it.
So any suggestions from professional plumbers?
Answers: Shark bite fittings can be in motion on quickly , no solder and undemanding to work with.
There is a freeze system that freezes two places on the pipe so you can cut into it to repair or (in your travel case ) modify .This may somewhat hard to find at a rental place.
Best bet is to use the shark bite set up organized to go and turn rotten the water cut and slap it together and turn the marine backby maybe 10 minutes of the marine being bad.
They may want the "license" for the bond
with the freeze system you don't own to turn off the hose as it is frozen inside the pipe and therefore plugged
Be carefull near shark bite fittings.
They are simply just a o ring next to a little metal ring that grab the pipe.
I have see shark bite fittings leak for multiple reasons.
A true professional plumber simply uses shark bite as a "temporary" fix.
Call a plumber, it will only cost a couple of hundred dollars, and will be worth the investment, over what may start in the wall a couple of months down the road, when you own to explain to the condo association why you flooded the building by trying to save a buck.
Good Luck
You say-so your experienced then why would you want to do this, what's the hurry next to a compression fitting, this doesn't even sound right.
Why not simply turn the water rotten and cut the pipe, and then solder a unusual fitting on?
Why are you doing all this to start next to?
