My grill (gas) is a year old and I think it needs to be cleaned down by the burners and the heat plates?

what is the best way for me to do this? Anyone do this recently or in the past that can give me some advice? Real advice please....

Answers:
If you are getting an uneven flame it's possible that the H-burner has corroded and needs to be replaced. You can buy universal H-burners at any hardware store. Another possible problem is spiders in the venturi tubes. I don't know why but it's a popular place for spiders to set up home and this disrupts the mix of propane and oxygen and can be dangerous as the flame can erupt out of the venturi tube instead of the H-burner. You can try to clean out the webs and or spiders with a stick, or just replace the burner assembly (less than $10.00-15.00).

most grills you can just take apart and wash. If its not too bad you can throw the parts in a dishwasher. Otherwise, use a scrub pad and a hose.

break it all down and boil them in a big pot
MAKE SURE all the burner holes and Venturi tubes are clear of debris before you reassemble
