My dishwasher have stale hose down sitting at the bottom of it. What should I use to unclog it?

I've been told CLR works but I didn't know that be for clogs. I thought just Calcium Lime and Rust. I've also be told that you can't use Drano.

Answers:    there is probably some wreckage that is blocking the hose from getting to the pump

remove the bottom rack
the spray arm should lift or verbs off
below this is a screen mesh and chalice catch around the podium of the spray arm that should lift out
lower than this should be where the wet must exit
-check for any debris (broken glass/bone fragments/etc)
vacuum out next to a wet/vac if you have one

reassemble

also check the plastic drain tube connected to your kitchen sink drain
this drain hose is connected to the sink drain near a rubber fitting and hose clamp
undo the hose clamp and check if its clogged beside debris
reattach to the drain

start the dishwasher and check periodically if its draining

this should win you on the right track
Depending on how much water is down within,it's supposed to be there. Read your owner's booklet.
