What is the cost of Building a 2 car garage?

I am just wondering about the construction costs for a two car garage in Texas. Most websites that deal with this want you to sign up before they give you a quote via a sales call. I do not want to deal with a fickle salesman at the moment.

I can't tell you anything about Texas prices but I can give you the following.

I live in West Sacramento, CA. I had a shop built a few years ago. It is 22' X 24'. It is large enough to hold two cars but I built it as a shop and did not provide adequate doors for vehicles. TJIs were used to span the the shop allowing construction without any center supports. The roof is a 45 degree gable allowing an 11' X 24' loft for storage. It is on a concrete slag, stick built, with T-111 siding and 30 year asphalt shingles. Every thing was built from a grass lawn. I.E. there was nothing there when we started. The ending cost amounted to just over $23,000.
