My refrigerater feels like a heater on the sides is this a fire hazard?

thanks

Answers:
It is normal for the sides to get hot. The design of some refrigerators have a "condenser loop" in the side walls of the units. It is an extension of the condenser coils that are mounted to the rear of the refrigerator. The coils are to help cool the refrigerant and make the unit work more efficiently.

Check and make sure that the coils on the rear of the unit are at least 2-3" from the wall to allow proper air flow across the coils.

When the room temperature is warmer than normal the sides of the unit will feel hotter.

answer these and you got your answer
not very normal. refrigerater do give out heat but not that much. think u better ask a professional to check it out for u..
If you think that it is too hot, then you might want to have it checked out. My refrigerator never gets really hot on the sides, but it might in the back (not sure, though. I never get back there). If it is a really old one, you might just want to get a new one anyway. They can cost less in the long run with the energy you save.
this is the norm its the type of gas used has a negative efect must be heated to be cold.
