Can you deliver a refrigerator on its side in need ruinning it?

wondering if it will damage the compressor or freon gas ita short distance of a few miles


Answers:    Well, everyone have the right idea, you do own to let it stand adjectives before plugging it contained by. The 24 hours is really overkill, though. There is only give or take a few 6 oz. of oil within them and it does not get disbursed adjectives throughout the refrigerator when it in laid down, it is still within the compressor. It just have to drain back into the sump (bottom) of the compressor. The grease used in a refrigeration system is mineral base and is not as thick as read out motor oil. An hour would be fine. Wait two if you really want to gross sure.
I have be in teh refrigeration and nouns conditioning field for 15 years and own repaired many of them.
