Electrical problem, please abet?

okay, this may be hard to explain but Saturday i go to vacuum my office and as soon as i flicked the switch the power within the office go out as well as my kitchen lights which are contained by the room next to the organization and the outlet in my living room that i have the tree plugged into...the breaker did not trip we checked it and even replaced it and it does not turn the power on...what else can it be? a burnt lead in the wall? is within a piece of equipment that can detect burnt wires within the wall? any help is appreciated! gratefulness


Answers:    I just have a smiler situation last week. As it turned out, wires within a junction box surrounded by the ceiling somehow worked their way out of a wire-nut and grounded out against the side of the metal box. It did not trip the breaker because when the wires separated the circuit be broken. Luckily I had a suspended ceiling (This happen in my basement) All I have to do was locate the box and replace the wires that adjectives after they touched the metal junction box and adjectives was fitting in the world again. I also established to just replace adjectives of the wiring within the basement so that the other crossroads boxes did not have alike problem.

Be cautioned, Electricity is nil to mess around with! If you don't know what you are doing it can greatly easily waste you!

This sounds like a time to ring a professional electrician to come in and find exactly what have gone wrong in your situation.

Hopefully you checked ALL the breakers, because the circuit may not actually be on the speckled breaker. Sounds like you call for an electrician.
