can I make 24v with 2 batteries?

Answers:
Yes you can if you hook them in series. Hook a pos. from one battery and a neg. from the other battery together and the other pos. and neg. terminals will read 24V across them.

Other answers:
Sure use 4 6 Volt batteries or 2 12 Volt Batteries connected in series.

I assume you are talking about two 12 volt batteries. Batteries add when hooked in series. Hook one negative terminal (-) to the other batteries positive terminal (+). You will have 24 volts DC between the other two terminals.
