Im working on a furnace at work and when it's running the blower howls realy desperate?

the blower cage is mounted at the top & 4 screw hold it on, if I slide it off when it's blowing the howl stops till I slide it rear legs in place later it starts howling again


Answers:    Three things come to mind.
1. The blower cage or the motor is rubbing on something when it is contained by place.
2. The bearings on the blower shut within or motor need lubrication.
3. You own a blockage in the chain causing the motor to work harder. Check the filter.
