Leak In my basement?

We have been in our 7 year old house for 6 months. We first noticed the leak after a heavy downpour. The leak appears to be coming from a hole in the concrete wall that a copper pipe uses to go out toward the front of the house. I can't tell if it is the pipe leaking or water just coming in through that hole from the outside. What shoud I do?

Answers:
If your pipe was leaking you would have constant water. It seems like the water is traveling along your pipe when it rains. Get some Water Plug (trade name), available from a damp proofing company or builders merchant. Its a powder, mix with water and seal around your pipe with it. Use it quickly as it sets very fast(5 Min's). mix only what you can use it that time.
