Hot marine Tanks?
Answers: Those are some very horrible anwsers above
No tankless hose down heaters are basically a convience and you will not recap the cost of the section and modifications required to run a tankless water radiator.
let me explain:
first of adjectives Tankless water heaters require a 3/4" gas column due to the gas usage (199,000 BTU on average for whole house model types)
The vent requried is differnt and is very costly (its a stainless steel substance double wall)
the unit price is on average 2-3 times more than a holding cistern style
The tank style unit are very handy within a emergancy, think give or take a few theres 30+ gallons of drinkable water on reserve if for some apology water is not availble (earthquakes, huricane, flood {drinking marine of course}
the tankless type Require Maintance to clear the calcuim deposits and sediment that collects easily contained by the water tubing areas of the part
The tankless types also require power usage to run the onboard electronics that run the thermostat ETC
Tankless water heaters are great if you are using more marine than a tank type can put out..... imbue a spa take long fund to back showers and such but thats it
sure gas usage on a reservoir style is more but gas is cheap you will Never justify startup and retrofit cost to replace a container style over the lifespan of the Tankless water electric fire
yes, they are more efficient because the hot river is heated on demand fairly than just sitting contained by a tank human being constantly heated and waiting to be used
