cannot find leak in in ground pool with vynl liner?

Answers:
If your pool is losing water, it may not be due to a leak in the vinyl liner. It may be in the underground pipes (at least that's what happened in my pool. The main drain at the deep-end is plugged).

To test for a leak in the liner, you raise the pool water a few inches, and then dump some dye in. The dye should collect towards the leak in the pool. Check with your local pool supply store to find out if they have a special dye to do this.

Again, it may be the plumbing. It's probably better to leave stuff like this to a professional. Either way, if you find a leak in either the liner or the plumbing, odds are you are going to need a pro anyway.
