Suggestions on how to get spilled melted candle wax out of brand new upholstry?
Answers:
The color of the couch,
and color of the wax along with the type of fabric need to be taken into consideration, also if the fabric can take the heat from an iron will determine how much the stain will show. I believe all the suggestions regarding applying heat are the most well known tips. A suggestion if none of these work, purchase a very soft fringed throw in the same or contrasting color and casually drape over the arm. I did this when my dog used the arm of the couch as a teething ring. All the best..

I removed candle wax from carpeting by using a steam iron.
put a dish towel down first then use a steam iron.
once i spilled candle wax on my bed and i used a thin rag and an iron, i put the thing rag over the area, and ironed over it, and kept putting new rags down to soak up the new melted wax from the iron, i hope this helps out a lil bit
a warm flannel then kitchen roll to absorb the melted wax
Try using an iron set just hot enough to melt the wax and several paper towels. Place a paper towel(folded in half) over the spot and apply the iron for several seconds(just long enough to melt the wax and absorb some) leave towel and allow to cool. Use another towel and repeat until wax is gone. This method has worked for me in the past you could also use brown paper as from a grocery bag. A word of warning... Don't use towels or brown paper with any printing on them you may transfer it to the thing you're trying to clean.
Good Luck!
