Why does my 2 touch faucet require the dampen supply to attach from the floor side?
Is it a big settlement that it was installed the other style?
Answers: Some of the anti-syphon features of some plumbing fixtures use gravity as an activator. If this is the case for your section, your anti-syphon feature will any not work or it could prevent the flow of the water. I doubt in that would be much chance of you syphoning debris water from a shower come first so I wouldn't worry too much more or less that risk. I think your bigger problem would be if your hot river heats up the anti-syphon and shuts down the flow of hose down.
Hard to say.
I would turn with the manufacturer recommendations within order to maintain a warranty valid.
If your not worried about a warranty, dance ahead and try it.
It may work the way you want it to.
Good Luck
yes
This one and only applies when it is a tub/ shower unit. Not only a shower unit.
Ive done pluming for years and the with the sole purpose thing I can construe of is some kind of a anti siphons type stopcock ? the valve doesn't know be the water pressure is is coming from what are you reading instructions for anyway ? try calling gerber They probably don't know ?
Gerber is lofty priced. I suspect this faucet will make a shuddering or marine hammer type thud if not installed to manufacturer's specifications.
