How can I remove stains on aluminum under my eaves. I have had them professionally power washed but it did not

Answers:
Many years ago I had a similar problem with aluminum discoloration and I used a paste of baking soda and vinegar with an old rag-- just smear it on and rub. This might work for your problem, maybe test a small area and see how it works. Good luck!

I'm a carpenter and also work in building maintenance. You'll not shift any stains from fascia or soffit eaves by power washing. The best thing is to go to a builders suppliers or get the golden pages out and look for building chemicals/cleaning products. There is an acid that my old employer used to remove concrete & plaster stains from new windows and frames. It won't burn your fingers off but always wear protective clothing.
