basement windowless air ventilation?
I am remodeling my windowless basement and need to get air ventilation, also air conditioning and heat. I just don't know wher to start. What am I looking for? Any help would be appreciated. I have about 400sq feet and the basement is dry. Thanks in advance

Ann....IF you are able to get a dryer duct into the basement (the kind that feeds outside) you can in fact have a portable AC unit. I have one and can roll it from room to room. The only requirements are that I have a place to vent the hot air on the return. This can be done through a window OR through a vent like the one for the dryer. This is going to be a challenge for you...well it would be for me....because the one thing I love most is a well ventilated room...it reduces odor and the possibility of mold growing.....good luck and keep HGTV on the tube.

scuba gear ? Just a thought. Well actually some kind of duck work will need to be involved , along with a high speed fan like a squirrel cage fan / blower.

I had a basement with only one window, I put in a 6" exhaust fan at the other end of the room from the window & run it as much as posssible, it does a great job at keeping it dry & in the summer time I pipe the cool air up stairs, just like air condistioning. All I need was a 6" exhaust fan & some dryer venting.
Where can I find a tankless water heater?
