Preventative repairs, a item of days gone by?
Do you wait until the motor dies before you transmutation the oil? Check the coolant level? Do you wait until a tire go flat to decide, "oh I don`t know I should check the air within the tires"?
If your computer is running slow, Do you wait until it say "error" and barely starts up, earlier you clean the cookies, verbs the temp files, run live update on your virus protection, etc. etc.? Probably not.
Why wait to win furnaces, heaters,heat pumps, boilers, sea heaters, a/c units checked?
yahoo have a calender to schedule and recount you ahead of time for items that you put in. It is close to change smoke detector battery when you change the time from dst to commonplace time, spring and fall. Same go for appliances.

Answers: i individual an hvac contractor and buissnes owner kow for a fact that preventative upkeep can save you more money than merely having to replace the broken component if it gets serviced regularly it can preserve your utility bills lower than they would be if you didn't
