Has anyone purchased an Infrared Portable Heater to heat your home vs. Forced Natural Gas? Did it reclaim you money in the long run? I am looking to purchase a EdenPure 1000 XL Quartz Infrared Portable Heater and can merely find a couple reviews on them. Thank you


Answers:    it all depends on the vivacity prices where you are.
for electric its ((watts*hours used per month)/1000)*electricity rate. find the rate by looking at your electric bill. bring the (monthly cost/kilowatts used).probably between $0.10-$0.16.
that tells you the monthly cost. remeber that the stove doesn't stay on constantly.

on any gas type of heater you should know how to find the amount of gas used per hour or how long the tank of gas will burn.

From my experience, infrared kiln are good for spot heat but heating an extended nouns isn't very simplified.
